I've just wasted a good 2 or 3 hours doing up a new template for no good reason other than I told Claire that I might last night.

So whaddya think? Like the doggie? I met that dog somewhere in Iowa in 1998 on a singing tour of the corn-growin' midwest of the USA. Don't even know his name. But I love the photo.

Last night was an orgy of diaryland hookups. Nudie was helping organise a book launch at Mayfield's in Smith Street, and me and the boys were doing the pre-launch entertainment, and we were joined by the lovely Nous, the towering Stu, a very laid-back Claire, complete with extra-mysterious dark sunnies, inside, at night... and the diminutive ball of energy that is Amanda.

It's good to put a face to the stories. Look forward to meeting you folks again soon.
